The Apostle Paul’s thorn was a fallen angel and not a sickness or infirmity as some teach in the institutional church system. “Thorn in the side” is an expression similar to our present day “pain in the neck” or as connected to “other body parts.”
The “thorn” is a fallen angel that caused Paul to be shipwrecked, bitten by a snake, imprisoned, stoned and left for dead, in peril from folk, one harassment after another—all in an effort to hinder Paul’s ministry. Yet, because of God”s grace, Paul”s ministry has continued for 21 centuries for God”s grace is sufficient. In spite of the horrendous teaching today that the Apostle Paul was a false prophet, the ministry of this great man of God continues.
